There is a pair of bald eagles fishing our lake. Please don’t leave your hooks in the fish. If the eagles should happen to hit with a fish a hook in the mouth and swallow the hook, the bird will be greatly harmed and likely die. Better to lose a fish than an eagle. Share the fish with the eagles. They need food too!
